Bask in Baskets
CONTAINERS
Organizing often means more plastic bins and labels—but I believe containers should carry meaning, too. Heirloom baskets, vintage crates, quirky bowls gathered on your travels—these hold stories, not just stuff.
THAT CRADLE
My love for vessels began with my grandmother’s basket collection—a quiet legacy of care and craft. While backpacking through Southeast Asia, I watched baskets take shape by hand, each one a testament to patience and place. That reverence deepened during a weaving course in Maine, and again more recently, while coiling pine needles beneath the oaks of Ojai.
Each experience wove another thread into the question that sits at the heart of my practice: What do we choose to carry—and keep—through this life?
That curiosity continues to guide how I approach every space—with respect for your belongings, your story, and the containers that cradle both.
